Belated Birthday & Big Changes

(Originally posted August 4, 2013)

It’s been a wild few weeks here at Alpha Pup HQ – so wild and crazy that we nearly forgot to celebrate our own 1st birthday!  So, almost a month late (whoops!), happy 1st birthday to Alpha Pup Photography!

Happy Birthday Confetti

The first year was decidedly a building year:  getting our website up and running, reviewing & revising our entire inventory, and trying to keep up with the blogging duties!  I have to thank everyone who’s visited our site during our first year and for all of your support.  Your kind comments and encouragement were warm and very much appreciated as we went through our growing pains.  Overall, our first year was a nice start, and we’re looking forward to kicking off year #2 with a bang!!

In fact, that “bang” has already happened – and caused us to miss our birthday… the Alpha Pup home base has moved from the East Coast to Colorado!!  Much of July was spent packing up, driving a lot, unpacking, and setting up life once more in our new home outside of Denver, Colorado.  Thankfully the move went pretty smoothly and everyone is finding their new groove (including our dog!).  Now that life has settled down a little, and our dog has made the transition quite well, I’m very much looking forward to getting out and exploring our new surroundings with my camera.  If the views from our new town and neighborhood are any indication, it’s gonna be absolutely stunning when we finally get up into the “big hills” and the explore nooks and crannies off of the beaten path!!

So, thank you again to everyone who’s dropped by during our first year!  We’re looking forward to a new and exciting year #2!!
